This year has been a very profitable one for the Portuguese property market, which should receive a healthy 12 percent growth by the end of the year.

With the double tax arrangements between the UK and Portugal, buying property has never been so simple for investors from overseas.

The rise in the number of low-cost airlines flying from the UK to Portugal has risen sharply this year. As well as flying to Faro there are now many more budget flights to Lisbon and Porto, so there is now cheap, easy access to most regions, so this could be one of the reasons for this growth.

Property prices are certainly not as cheap as Prague or Bratislava, however capital growth and rental yields showing a high return for investors. There is no doubt that Portugal is a well-established and flourishing marketplace with a stable economy.
